Prenisha is primarily involved in international trade and customs related matters across Africa. She advises and represents large corporates, multinationals and state departments.
Prenisha has experience in tax and customs disputes, import and export controls, dual use, cross border trade issues such as anti-dumping and other trade remedies. In addition, her experience extends to counterfeit and tariff disputes.
She has also been involved in conducting customs reviews and health checks for companies.

Assisted with the representation of the Brazilian chicken export industry in an anti-dumping investigation into frozen chicken exports to SACU.
Assisted with the representation of a soda ash exporter in an anti-dumping sunset review in South Africa.
Obtained a successful duty free tariff ruling for one South Africa’s leading information, communication and entertainment technology importer’s.
Acted for a multinational clothing company in an High Court application against the South African Revenue Service in respect of an origin and valuation dispute.
Represented a clearing and forwarding company in a multimillion dispute against the South African Revenue Service.
Obtained a successful binding private ruling for a multinational shipping company.
Obtained the release of detained and seized goods for importers in South Africa.
