Aldona Gorman is a member of Baker McKenzie's North America Employment and Compensation Practice as Counsel in Chicago, bringing more than 16 years of experience advising companies on effectively and competitively compensating their global workforces. She joins the Firm from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she advised multinational companies on domestic and international equity compensation and benefits matters.
Ms. Gorman advises multinational employers, both public and private, on the global implementation and operation of their executive and equity compensation programs. Specifically, she guides companies through the complex and ever-changing labyrinth of legal, regulatory and tax requirements and implications of extending such compensation plans globally by conducting international legal and tax due diligence, completing regulatory and tax filings, and developing employer administration and employee communication strategies. Ms. Gorman also consults on the legal, regulatory and tax impact of mergers and acquisitions on existing and new compensation arrangements as well as regularly advises employers on mobility matters, including the design and taxation of equity compensation payable to mobile employees.
