Biography

Daniel Gao is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Antitrust & Competition Practice Group in New York. Daniel advises clients in both the U.S. and Canada on a variety of antitrust and competition matters, including merger clearance, regulatory compliance, and antitrust counseling.

Before joining the Firm's New York office, Daniel started as a summer associate in the Firm's Toronto office. During law school, he competed on U of T's Adam F. Fanaki Competition Moot Team.

Practice Focus

Daniel advises clients on all aspects of the antitrust regulatory and litigation process, including antitrust merger review, Second Request and Supplementary Information Request compliance, and corporate regulatory and antitrust counselling. He has experience in a diverse range of sectors such as technology, pharmaceuticals, and consumer and industrial goods.
