Alessandra Fusco is a member of Baker McKenzie's Employment and Compensation Law Practice Group in Toronto. Alessandra joined the Firm as an associate in 2020 after completing her articles at a leading labour and employment boutique law firm in Toronto.
Alessandra regularly advises employers on a full range of labour and employment law matters, providing practical legal and business advice to private and public sector clients.
Before studying law, Alessandra worked for the Ontario government advising high-profile public office holders, including the Minister of Education and the Premier of Ontario. She has advised on matters with respect to stakeholder relations, media relations, communication and issues management.
Alessandra's practice includes all areas of labour and employment law in Canada's common law jurisdictions, with a particular focus on employment agreements, labour arbitrations, human rights, wrongful dismissals and occupational health and safety.
She also assists clients in day to day employment matters including conducting workplace investigations, drafting effective employment contracts, and workplace policies.
