
Florian Fehres
Biography
Florian is a legal director within the Amsterdam Corporate M&A and Private Equity practice and concentrates in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic partnerships, asset transactions and (leveraged) buy outs.
Before joining Baker McKenzie Florian worked for various international law firms and headed the M&A department of a national law. Before moving into private practice Florian worked in diplomacy as a (senior) legal counsel for the United Nations and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) for almost a decade. Considering his broad international experience, diplomatic skills and personal approach his clients appreciate him for being their stronghold during challenging and decisive negotiations.
He is a published author and was awarded personal recognition for his contribution to the OPCW winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 2013.

Florian is a specialist within industries characterized by heavy regulation, government interference, technological development and innovation such as healthcare, tech and agribusiness & food.
