Pavel Fekar practices in the area of tax law and is a member of the International Fiscal Association. In 2003, Mr. Fekar served as a member of the Working Party established by the Czech Ministry of Finance and the Czech Chamber of Tax Advisors to harmonize local income law with the EC law. He was later appointed by the Czech Minister of Finance to the Expert Committee for the Reform of the Direct Tax System in the Czech Republic. Mr. Fekar chairs the subgroup responsible for corporate-shareholder taxation, consolidation regimes, holding taxation regimes, taxation of collective investment vehicles and international tax aspects.
Mr. Fekar has more than 13 years experience advising on tax issues, focusing on corporate income tax, international tax planning and transactional tax advice, particularly in relation to mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring.
