Biography

Ariane Ernst is an associate in Baker McKenzie’s Tax Practice Group in Zurich. Prior to joining the Firm as an associate, she worked at two different business law firms in Zurich, the lower administrative court in St. Gallen, as a research assistant at the chair for private, comparative and insurance law of Prof. Helmut Heiss at the University of Zurich Faculty of Law, and as a Diplomatic Affairs Officer at the Swiss Embassy in the Philippines. Ariane was admitted to the Swiss bar in 2012 and, in 2017, obtained a PhD in Law (Dr. iur.) from the University of Zurich for her thesis on the simplified taxation procedure.

Practice Focus

Ariane advises on national and international corporate and individual taxation, tax controversy, and VAT.
