Dr. Johannes Druschel is an associate in Baker McKenzie’s Munich office and a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Before joining the Firm in 2016, he already clerked in Baker McKenzie's Munich office. He obtained his doctorate from Munich University writing on digital content in relation to European contract and copyright law while he was a scholar of the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich. During his study he worked as legal trainee for another international law firm in Munich with a focus on trademark, unfair competition, copyright and media law.
Dr. Druschel advises German and international clients in a wide range of intellectual property issues, particularly in relation to trademark, unfair competition and copyright law as well as patent law. His practice covers advisory work as well as IP litigation regarding patent law litigation only.
