Cynthia de Witt Wijnen is a member of Baker McKenzie's Europe and Global Real Estate Practice Group. Prior to joining the Firm in 2008, she worked in a Magic Circle law firm and two Dutch law firms. Cynthia spent a year working for a large women's rights organizations at the United Nations in New York. She has been a lecturer at the Post Graduate Institute of the Royal Dutch Notaries Association (KNB) for many years and frequently gives in-house presentations to companies such as ING Real Estate. She is a member of Women in Real Estate (WIRE), a professional networking group of women in key positions in real estate companies.
Cynthia's practice covers commercial real estate transactions for Dutch and foreign institutional investors and multinationals. She regularly advises on acquisitions, sales, leases and mortgages in connection with offices, retail centres, logistics centres and hotels.
