Lily Collyer has worked extensively in the Financial Services sector, advising clients in that sector on all aspects of employment law including litigation, global projects, and general counsel advice.
Lily joined Baker & McKenzie LLP as a trainee solicitor in 2003, qualifying in the Employment Group in 2005. Lily has spent time working in Baker McKenzie's offices in Sydney and Hong Kong.
Lily has significant experience defending Employment Tribunal claims including complex multi-strand discrimination and equal pay claims. She also has experience handling contractual disputes including bonus claims in the High Court.
Lily has managed global projects covering a variety of matters from rolling out new global policies and benefits to managing reductions in force. She also regularly advises clients on sensitive HR matters including senior executive terminations. Recently, Lily has been advising financial services clients on gender pay gap reporting and the new Senior Managers Regime.
Lily has completed secondments to clients in both the Financial Services and "Big Four" Professional Services sectors.
