Biography

Franklin Chu is an associate in the Firm’s Dallas office, where he advises on various intellectual property matters. He has experience with a variety of technical fields, including communication systems and networks, optics, LEDs, mechanical designs, chemical processes, medical devices, and pharmaceutical compounds.

Practice Focus

Mr. Chu's practice focuses on patent prosecution and patent litigation. He has experience with all stages of patent prosecution, and has helped clients grow their patent portfolios both in the US as well as numerous foreign jurisdictions. He is experienced with all stages of inter partes review proceedings as well as arbitration proceedings before the American Arbitraton Association involved patent disputes. He has advised clients on discovery and document production, claim construction, non-infringements positions, and invalidity positions.
