Luis Alberto Castell is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, specialized in Competition Law and Free Trade from the same university and with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business from Queen Mary of the University of London.
Luis Alberto has more than 5 years of experience in the field of Competition Law as part of the Colombian Antitrust Authority (Superintendency of Industry and Commerce). First, as part of the specialized group of competition protection in public procurements (Bid Rigging). Then, as Advisor to the Superintendent of Industry and Commerce in matters related to competition. He was also part of Mergers IV Shop of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) of the United States as International Fellow.
