Biography
Sebastian Burg is a partner in Baker McKenzie’s Employment Practice Group in Brussels. He joined the Firm in 2001 and advises domestic and multinational corporations on all areas of Belgian and EU individual and collective employment law. Mr. Burg regularly speaks in seminars and workshops on different topics related to his practice.
Practice Focus
Mr. Burg's practice focuses on employment contracts, international employment, employment termination, collective lay-off and closing of enterprises, industrial relations and industrial actions. He also handles negotiations with unions on collective bargaining agreements, transfers of undertaking, employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions and outsourcing, executive compensation, corporate governance and non-compete and restrictive covenants. Mr. Burg represents domestic and multinational corporations before the Belgian courts in employment litigation.
