Diana Bohorquez is an associate in Baker McKenzie’s Bogota office. Prior to joining the Firm, she was an official of INVIMA, the Colombian food and drug regulator. She has particular experience in the pharmaceutical sector having worked in another law firm and served as counsel for international laboratories and in retail as a lawyer for a nationwide drugstore company. She is also experienced in advertising review to ensure the pursuance of both regulatory issues and consumer law.
Diana’s practice focuses on healthcare and sanitary law covering a variety of industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food, liqueur, cosmetic and hygiene products. She has substantive experience in health and pharmaceutical legal consultancy and advisory, and has negotiated and drafted contracts of common use in the sector, issues referred to compliance (ie, white books, codes of conduct, intern policies), legal opinions, representation in constitutional actions, administrative investigations (from authorities such as superintendencies and the Ministry of Health, among others), writs of amparo, etc.
