Sten has for 30 years advised a wide range of industry clients within two areas of law, one being Mergers & Acquisitions, where he has represented a number of prominent companies in private transactions. The other within the areas of general employment law including executive recruitment terminations, employment benefits as well as collective redundancies and labor litigation. The main industry focus has been manufacturing, electronics, IT and pharmaceuticals.

• Advised Newscycle Solutions on corporate and employment issues in connection with the acquisition of Infomaker.

• Advised McDonald’s Corporation on its divestment and refranchising of all its restaurants in the Nordics.

• Advised CapMan Buyout on the sale of MPT Sweden AB.

• Advised Swedima AB in connection with its divestment of Werners Gourmetservice AB.

• Handled various work force reductions, including advice and preparation of documentation as well as assisting in union consultations and negotiating individual settlement agreements.

• Advised on and assisted in various terminations of employments, including contentious dismissals with immediate effect and and terminations due to redundancy.

• Advised various companies in employment related M&A projects and business transfers.

• Assisted in various compliance investigations including employee interviews and independent assessment of events.

• Advised various companies in a wide range of data privacy law issues, including data privacy audits and other GDPR issues.

• Negotiating Executive recruitment, incentive packages and terminations.
