Héctor Basulto serves as Baker McKenzie’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group coordinator in Guadalajara. He became Firm partner in 2003, and was appointed Notary Public No. 7 in and for Zapopan, Jalisco in 2002. Mr. Basulto has extensive experience in the government sector, and frequently participates as speaker and panelist in seminars organized by public and private institutions. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Basulto is a professor at the Law School of the Universidad de Guadalajara and the Universidad Panamericana. He is a member of the Consejo del Colegio de Notarios.
Héctor is seasoned in all types of litigation, especially as it relates to civil, commercial, family, administrative law and amparo action matters, as well as in notarial practice in matters of real estate, fiduciary, constitution of guarantees, certifications of facts, transactions, corporate, contractual, registry and in the prevention of laundry money.
