
James (Jim) G. Barnes
Biography
James G. Barnes represents banks and other clients in trade and structured finance transactions and in disputes involving letters of credit and other independent undertakings. Mr. Barnes represents the international financial services' trade association in the development, revision, and application of letter of credit law and practice rules. He has written or co-written numerous law review articles, including the annual survey of developments in letter of credit law for the Business Lawyer and The ABCs of the UCC: Article 5.
