Amy Barber is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Intellectual Property and Technology practice. Amy assists clients with a range of transactional and regulatory matters involving intellectual property, data, and technology and helps clients with structuring, drafting and negotiating strategic technology and supply chain agreements related to cloud-based services, software license agreements, outsourcing, technology transfers and intellectual property licensing as well as issues related to data privacy.
Amy maintains an active practice in connection with a variety of matters related to information technology and intellectual property transactions. She regularly advises clients in connection with cloud services, various technology and commercial transactions, complex IT licensing and multi-jurisdictional outsourcings. Amy assists companies active in a broad range of commercial spaces and industries, including healthcare, financial services, consumer goods, manufacturing, transportation and e-commerce. Amy also helps global companies manage issues evolving out of the connection between the use of technology and allocation of data rights as well as working with clients to navigate complex issues regarding intellectual property, data, and technology in M&A and technology transactions.
