Marisa Bakker recently joined the Litigation and Government Enforcement Practice Group in the Washington, DC office.
During the summer of 2018, Marisa worked as summer associate where she assisted litigation practice group with ongoing projects, including by drafting pretrial documents for ongoing debtor’s action in DC Superior Court and reviewing transcripts in preparation for pending suspension and debarment action. She was also responsible for researching and drafting memoranda relating to sentence reduction under the Incarceration Reduction Amendment (DC); recent developments in tax policy; and costs awarded on appeal (NY), among other topics.
