Dr. József Antal — co-heads the dispute resolution team of the Budapest office — routinely assists clients in litigation, alternative dispute resolution and public procurement matters. He has advised and represented clients in the most varied industry sectors — from transport to energy and financial services to telecommunications.
Dr. Antal focuses on civil and administrative litigation and arbitration. He has represented multinational and local clients at each level of the Hungarian court system — including the Supreme Court — and in arbitrations before the Permanent Court of Arbitration affiliated with the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Permanent Arbitration Court of Financial and Capital Markets. Dr. Antal also advises on damages, unfair competition, copyright, private enforcement and fraud cases. In the field of public procurement, Dr. Antal helps clients prepare tenders and negotiate complex construction public procurement projects.
