Baker McKenzie assists Emeren in signing BESS co-development agreement with AGR Power

Baker McKenzie has assisted Emeren Group Ltd, through one of its affiliates, in the signing of a battery energy storage systems (BESS) co-development agreement with AGR Power in northern Italy.

The agreement provides that Emeren will undertake design and development projects on behalf of AGR Power, which will provide financial support as an investor.

As part of the deal, five plants will be built across four regions, with a total capacity of about 400 MWac.

The Baker McKenzie Finance Energy team that advised Emeren was led by Alberto Fornari and Giorgio Telarico, supported by Carola Cambiaghi and Francesco Ciociola.
