Red Circle S.r.l., Renzo Rosso's real estate investment company, and COIMA SGR S.p.A., a leader in the investment, development and management of real estate assets, have entered into an agreement for the redevelopment of the former industrial site on Via Lorenzini in the Porta Romana district of Milan. This will house the headquarters of various OTB Group companies (which groups brands such as Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni and Jil Sander). 

The complex is located in an area that will host one of the most important redevelopments in Milan in the coming years and it will be developed to be of maximum efficiency, flexibility and sustainability, integrating the most innovative ESG criteria. COIMA SGR acquired ownership of the properties in 2019 through COIMA Opportunity Fund II, recently rated among the best-performing private investment funds in Europe according to the GRESB sustainability rating.

Baker McKenzie advised Red Circle with a team led by Partner Pietro Bernasconi, composed of Senior Associate Federica Longo and for tax aspects, Counsel Francesco Florenzano. The transaction, led and managed for Red Circle by CEO Tania Zen, was coordinated internally by Red Circle S.r.l.'s Head of Legal, Alessandro Accettulli Real Estate Director Manlio Amorosi for aspects pertaining to the OTB Group and OTB General Counsel Simone Stanca.

International law firm Gianni & Origoni assisted COIMA.

The transaction was finalized with the intervention of notaries Edmondo Todeschini and Ciro De Vivo.
