Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow, member firm of Baker McKenzie International has been named "Singapore Firm of the Year" at the Euromoney Asia Women in Business Law Awards 2022 for the first time. Principal Dawn Quek from the Tax, Trade and Wealth Management practice group was named the "Tax Lawyer of the Year" and Wealth Management Lawyer of the Year" at the ceremony. Euromoney Asia also recognised the Firm's efforts across the wider Asia Pacific region by awarding Baker McKenzie five country awards, four practice (individual) and rising star awards, and six firm awards at the virtual awards ceremony on 15 September.
Managing Principal, Andrew Martin said: "We are proud and honoured that our Firm has been recognised for our efforts at strengthening our structures that create an inclusive, diverse and safe workplace for all our team members. This Award serves as a validation of our efforts and will spur us on to continue making meaningful improvements to our policies, particularly those which support the ambitions of our large force of women team members."
