Baker McKenzie legal advisor to Orio in sale to Hedin for SEK 503 million

Baker McKenzie acted as legal advisor to Orio AB in the sale of the company to Hedin Mobility Group AB. The seller was the Swedish state and the total value of the deal amounts to SEK 503 million.

Orio AB is a global logistics and spare parts company that offers logistic services related to storage, distribution, export / import, transport, processing and handling of goods. Orio is the world's only supplier of Saab original parts with sales in approximately thirty countries. Orio has been owned by the Swedish state since 2012. The head office is located in Nyköping, together with a logistics and distribution center. The company also has offices in Trollhättan and four fully-owned subsidiaries in Europe and the USA.

Hedin Mobility Group is one of Europe's largest privately owned car dealers. The group employs more than 5,000 people and has over 200 facilities in seven countries.
