Global law firm Baker McKenzie recorded an increase in practice and lawyer rankings in the Chambers USA 2022 Guide, with 41 practice group rankings and 79 lawyer rankings, up from 39 and 70, respectively, in 2021. Top-tier rankings in Bands 1 and 2 totaled 22 and in individual categories, 11 of our US lawyers were newly ranked and three were promoted.

Chambers and Partners ranked law firms based on technical legal ability, client service, commercial vision and business understanding, diligence, value for money and depth of team. Rankings are based on interviews with clients and peers as well as firm submissions.

The Firm upheld its Band 1 ranking in Nationwide International Arbitration: Highly Regarded (2021-2022), Nationwide Tax: Controversy (2013-2022), California: Northern Tax (2016-2022), California: San Francisco, Silicon Valley & Surrounds Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation (2013-2022), Florida Tax (2010-2022), and New York Tax: State & Local (2021-2022).

The Firm also saw an increase in rankings for its Nationwide Corporate/M&A: Highly Regarded group (from Band 3 to Band 2).
