"We welcome Marcin to Baker McKenzie as a Partner. I am pleased that one of Poland's best and most recognized experts in equity capital markets law, with many years of international transactional experience, has joined our firm as Head of the Equity Capital Markets Practice in the Warsaw office. I am convinced that Marcin, together with our leading global capital markets team, will make a significant contribution to the development of our transactional practice and strengthen Baker McKenzie's position as a leading legal advisor on the most complex transactions carried out by our Polish and global clients. Marcin's arrival and the planned development of his practice is one of the most important elements of Baker McKenzie's long-term development strategy in Poland and the EMEA." - said Piotr Rawski, Managing Partner of Baker McKenzie in Warsaw.

"I am greatly honored to join the Warsaw office of Baker McKenzie, one of the global law firms best recognized on the world's financial markets. The transactional practice I have been involved in for over 20 years in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, particularly in equity capital markets, requires the close cooperation and support of lawyers from many jurisdictions, including key global financial centers such as London, New York, Frankfurt, and Hong Kong, integrated into a single platform such as Baker McKenzie. Polish companies, especially in the technology sector, operate in numerous markets, and increasingly their reach extends not only beyond Poland, but also far beyond Europe, while their legal services, especially when carrying out complex transactions, require comprehensive and coordinated support encompassing many different legal systems. I have no doubt that in close cooperation with the excellent, fully integrated global capital markets team of Baker McKenzie, we will be able, as the Warsaw office, to provide our Polish and global clients with the highest level of legal services in transactions in which I have specialized for many years." - said Marcin Chylinski.

Marcin joined Baker McKenzie from the law firm Rymarz Zdort (which, under its new brand, continues the activities of the Warsaw office of the global law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges), where he was a partner and head of the equity capital markets practice. Prior to joining Rymarz Zdort, Marcin was a partner at Weil, Gosthal & Manges for 11 years. Marcin is an attorney-at-law and a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. In 2006, he obtained the title of LL.
