Baker McKenzie assisted Caterpillar in a definitive trade union agreement that guarantees the continuity of employment and production at the Jesi plant, acquired by Imr Industriale Sud, which was assisted by law firm Russo De Rosa Associati.

Five months after the announcement of the closure of the Jesi industry plant by the American multinational company and the setting up of a crisis unit at the Ministry of Economic Development (MISE), the collective dismissal was averted by signing a trade union agreement for the reindustrialization of the site through transferring most employees to the new group.

Baker McKenzie assisted Caterpillar with a team coordinated by Partner Massimiliano Biolchini and composed of Counsel Vincenzo Di Gennaro for all the labor law aspects, and Counsel Anna Marina De Vivo for corporate law aspects.
