Baker McKenzie advised Google on the acquisition of The Warsaw HUB office complex, located in Warsaw's Wola district. The value of the transaction was EUR 583 million.

The transaction team advising Google on this transaction was led by partners Weronika Guerquin-Koryzma and Katarzyna Kopczewska, supported by lawyers and tax advisors from Baker McKenzie's Warsaw office: Mateusz Cieślak, Michał Maj, Beata Krakowiak, Marlena Binkiewicz, Justyna Glinka, Paulina Pawłowska, Irmina Wolska, Marta Tomczak, Mikołaj Karniszewski, Mateusz Resztak, Alan Szalecki, Patrycja Cierlak and Izabela Puchalska. In the field of competition law the company was advised by a team led by partner Marcin Trepka which also included Marta Banaś and Łucja Olszewska.

Completed in 2020, The Warsaw Hub complex consists of two office buildings with an area of 75 thousand sqm together with a retail and services arcade as well as a hotel building housing a four-star Crowne Plaza hotel and a three-star Holiday Inn Express (the hotel building was not part of the transaction). Since last year, The Warsaw Hub has housed Google's cloud technology development centre.
