The world’s leading law Firm, Baker McKenzie, was recognized for the fourth consecutive year with the Socially Responsible Company distinction in the category of large companies, awarded by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility for Mexico (AliaRSE). The distinction, achieved for a fourth consecutive year, is the result of a comprehensive effort by the Firm, its Corporate Social Responsibility area and committee.

The ESR distinction must be renewed year after year to maintain the culture of corporate responsibility within the organization. Miriam Villafaña, Corporate Social Responsibility Director at Baker McKenzie, explained: “We are proud to have been recognized by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy for the fourth consecutive year, in recognition of the socially responsible management of the Firm. This recognition is linked to the actions, initiatives and programs that have been carried out for more than 10 years in this area. At Baker McKenzie we hold a continuous commitment to be leaders in the legal sector and to promote the development of the country”.

During the announcement, Cemefi commented: “We are aware that this was a complex year that required great efforts by the recognized companies to continue their commitment to social responsibility, we are fully confident that they will continue working to create a better Mexico”.
