Baker McKenzie advised Occlutech Holding AG ("Occlutech") on its private placement of Swedish Depositary Receipts (SDRs) worth SEK 450 million (approximately CHF 46 million) to the Fourth Swedish National Pension Fund, Carnegie Private Banking and certain other investors. Each SDR represents a common share in Occlutech. The purpose of the issue is to support Occlutech's significant opportunities in the US market, continue to facilitate Occlutech's growth and to repay maturing loans.

Occlutech is a leading specialist provider of minimally invasive structural heart disease devices, addressing congenital heart defects, stroke prevention and heart failure. The company sells its products in over 85 countries and has a clear growth strategy, both in existing markets and through further global expansion.

Carnegie Investment Bank AB (publ) acted as the sole financial adviser to Occlutech.

Baker McKenzie acted as the legal adviser to Occlutech as to Swedish and Swiss law in connection with the transaction.
