Baker McKenzie is advising Pronto Money Transfer Inc. (d/b/a USEND), a California-based digital platform that allows users to make international payments quickly and securely and connect to complementary financial services powering cross-border commerce, in its agreement to be acquired by Banco Inter S.A., a publicly-traded bank in Brazil with more than 15 million customers. USEND offers foreign exchange transactions, payment wallets, debit cards and bill payments to over 150,000 customers. The transaction is expected to close in early 2022.
