Baker McKenzie Germany expands its Management Committee. At the end of summer 2021, the law firm in Germany was converted from a partnership with limited professional liability into a limited liability company (GmbH). In the course of the conversion to a GmbH, Dr. Thomas Schänzle and Dr. Christian Vocke were recently elected as new members of the Management Committee and registered in the commercial register as Managing Directors. Together with Dr. Matthias Scholz, Managing Partner of Baker McKenzie Germany, they form the new Management Committee of the German Baker McKenzie offices.

"Thomas Schänzle and Christian Vocke are an asset and an excellent strategic addition to the Management Committee. I already worked closely with both of them in the course of the conversion to a GmbH and look forward to continuing this cooperation within the framework of the now newly established management team," comments Dr. Matthias Scholz.

Dr. Thomas Schänzle is Partner and Co-Head of Baker McKenzie's German Tax Practice Group. He has extensive experience in providing tax advice to German and foreign multinationals on complex domestic and international corporate tax issues with strong focus on deal related tax structuring and internal optimized group reorganizations.
