Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie announced today that The Globe and Mail has recognized the Firm in its list of Canada’s Best Law Firms 2022.
The list was compiled through a survey of more than 2,500 lawyers, in-house attorneys, and legal executives. It notes the Firm’s Labour & Employment Practice Group as an area of distinction.
“As employers continue to navigate issues that have emerged during the pandemic, we welcome the recognition of our guidance through uncertain terrain,” said Stephanie Vaccari, Managing Partner in the Toronto office. “We especially appreciate the fact that this distinction comes from our law firm peers and our in-house counterparts throughout the country.”
The survey was conducted online between May 18 and July 9, 2021. The Globe and Mail partnered with Statista and recommended 200 of the more than 30,000 law firms in Canada.
Founded in 1844, The Globe and Mail is a media company that reaches 6 million readers every week.
This announcement comes in the same month that The Legal 500 named eight Baker McKenzie practice areas and six lawyers to its Canada 2022 guide that highlights success providing the most innovative advice to corporate counsel. That guide was compiled through input from attorneys, in-house counsel and corporate executives.
