On 14 December, Free Now, assisted by Baker McKenzie, obtained a new important victory before the Supreme Administrative Court (Consiglio di Stato). After the judgment on Milan radio taxis last June, the Supreme Court (with a different composition of the judging board) also confirmed the illicit nature — asserted by AGCM on the reporting of Free Now — of non-compete/exclusivity provisions adopted by the main Rome radio taxis, precluding their members (taxi drivers) from the use of an "open" and independent third-party app to put users in contact with taxi drivers.

The position of the Supreme Administrative Court — which reformed the first degree sentence by fully accepting, once again, the arguments formulated by the authority and by Free Now — therefore seems to have now become a fixed point in the teaching of the Supreme Administrative Council.

Baker McKenzie assisted Free Now with a team led by partner Andrea Cicala and composed of Francesco Goisis, of counsel, Miriam Allena, senior associate, and Lorenzo Sacco, associate.
