Baker McKenzie has assisted Thales in more than forty jurisdictions on entering into negotiations with Hitachi Rail for the sale of its Global Ground Transportation Systems Business with an enterprise value of €1.66 billion.
The acquisition is expected to close by the end of 2022 or early 2023, subject to regulatory approvals.
