Baker McKenzie advises TRG on the sale of omni channel pet care platform Pet Network to A&M Capital Europe

Baker McKenzie is advising The Rohatyn Group ("TRG") on the sale of Pet Network International d.o.o. (“Pet Network” or “the Company”) to A&M Capital Europe.  

Pet Network is the leading omni channel pet care platform in southeast Europe.  It was created by TRG in 2018 through the acquisition and merger of three distinct businesses: Pet Centar, which operates in Croatia, Serbia and Romania; Animax, which operates in Romania; and Mr. Pet, which operates in Slovenia.  Today the Company operates more than 150 physical stores across five countries under the Pet Centar, Maxi Pet, Animax and Mr. Pet brands.  The Company also operates various eCommerce channels, as well as a growing offering of value-added services including veterinary pharmacies.

The Baker McKenzie team, which also advised TRG on the original acquisitions in 2018, is being led by Private Equity partner Alex Lewis and includes Private Equity senior associate James Adams and associate Claire Guthrie, Banking partner Matt Smith and associate Joe Denyer, and Tax partner Alistair Craig and senior associate Vadim Romanoff.
