On 1 July 2021, the first day of trading in Profoto Holding AB's (publ) shares on Nasdaq Stockholm occurred. The IPO attracted strong interest from Swedish and international institutions as well as the general public in Sweden. The price in the offering was SEK 66 per share, corresponding to a total market value of the company of approximately SEK 2.64 billion.

Profoto was founded more than 50 years ago and has since then been the world leader in lighting products for professional photographers, driving innovation and awareness of how to create better images through light. The customers include the world’s leading photographers and Profoto is currently represented in over 50 markets worldwide. 

Carnegie Investment Bank acted as Sole Global Coordinator and Joint Bookrunner while Handelsbanken Capital Markets acted as Joint Bookrunner. Baker McKenzie acted as legal advisor to the Joint Bookrunners with a capital markets team consisting of Joakim Falkner, Johanna Flink, Per Blom, Marlene Wiklund and Henric Roth.
