Baker McKenzie assists Gi Group with the acquisition of Axxis

Baker McKenzie advised Gi Group, the leading Italian multinational staffing company, which is active in more than 50 countries across the globe and is among the top six staffing companies in Europe, in the acquisition of Axxis Intérim & Recrutement, Axxis Formation and SES Recrutement, a well-established, Marseille-based French company.

Active for more than 45 years, Axxis operates through 54 branches across France, offering temporary staffing solutions, permanent recruitment and training to more than 1,700 clients.

Baker McKenzie assisted Gi Group with a team comprising Pietro Bernasconi, head of the M&A practice of the Italian offices, and Partner Hugo Sanchez de la Espada from the Paris office, with the support of Gi Group's Global Legal Senior Director Dario Dell'Osa.
