Global law firm Baker McKenzie has advised Artum AG, the leading Swiss industrial holding company, on the sale of 100% of their shares to Storskogen, a Swedish privately owned company that acquires and operates well-managed and profitable businesses with leading positions in their respective markets.
As a result of this transaction, Artum AG, comprising 15 operating companies and 490 employees, will become a part of the Storskogen Group as a subsidiary of Storskogen Schweiz AG. The framework of this new partnership will combine and further strengthen the ambition to grow and to be one of the leading long-term owners of small and medium-sized companies in Switzerland and Germany.
The Baker McKenzie team advising Artum AG was led by, on the Swiss side, Martin Frey (Partner, Transactions/M&A), and it consisted of Kevin Ardüser (Associate, Transactions/M&A) and Estelle Mathis (Junior lawyer, Transactions), as well as Anna Orlander (Partner, Transactions/M&A) on the Swedish side.
