On June 17, 2021, the first day of trading in Acast AB's (publ) shares on Nasdaq First North Growth Market occurred. The IPO attracted strong interest from Swedish and international institutions as well as the general public in Sweden. The price in the offering was SEK 38 per share, corresponding to a total market value of the company of approximately SEK 6.7 billion.
Acast was founded in 2014 and is one of the most eminent podcast platforms, and a pioneer in the open podcast ecosystem, connecting all podcasting stakeholders to one common software infrastructure.
ABG Sundal Collier, Barclays Bank Ireland and Carnegie Investment Bank acted as Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners. Baker McKenzie acted as legal advisor to the Joint Global Coordinators as to Swedish and US law, with an international capital markets team consisting of Joakim Falkner, Ian Gulam and Johanna Flink from Stockholm as well as Adam Farlow, Charles Farnsworth, David Woodcock and Bryan Leighton from London.
