The launch of the Chambers USA 2021 Guide has seen an increase in practice and lawyer rankings for Baker McKenzie, with the Firm having been awarded 39 practice group rankings and 77 lawyer rankings, up from around 30 and 60, respectively, in 2020. Top-tier rankings in Bands 1 and 2 totalled 21, up from 14 in 2020. And in individual categories, 22 of our US lawyers were newly ranked and six promoted.

Baker McKenzie maintained Band 1 rankings in Nationwide Tax: Controversy (2013-2021), California: San Francisco, Silicon Valley and Surrounds Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation (2013-2021), Florida Tax (2010-2021), Illinois Technology and Outsourcing (2008-2021) and Northern California Tax (2016-2020).

We also saw an increase in rankings for our Nationwide Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation (from Band 5 to Band 4) and Illinois Tax (from Band 3 to Band 2) groups.
