Baker McKenzie advised TA Associates ("TA"), a leading global growth private equity firm, on the acquisition of a majority stake in Germany-based IGEL. IGEL is the provider of a next-gen edge OS for cloud work-spaces. The parties have agreed not to disclose the transaction volume.
TA joins existing IGEL investor C. Melchers GmbH & Co. KG (“Melchers”), which has been IGEL’s primary investor since its founding in 2001.
Baker McKenzie advised TA Associates on all legal aspects except tax law in connection with the acquisition of the stake in IGEL. TA Associates is a long-standing client of Baker McKenzie.
