Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie advised OnlineDoctor AG on its CHF 5.5 million series A financing round. Swiss health insurer CSS Holding AG acted as series A lead investor. The investor group further comprises Swiss and international venture capitalists, an incubator and various angel investors. The financing round featured an innovative convertible loan instrument.
The award-winning St.Gallen-based startup OnlineDoctor AG with subsidiaries in Germany and Austria is the owner and operator of the teledermatology platform onlinedoctor.ch. The platform allows patients to conveniently and securely submit photos of skin anomalies to an independent dermatologist in their region. Patients then receive a professional assessment and recommendation within 48 hours.
