Baker McKenzie advised Hannon Armstrong, a leading U.S. climate solutions investor, on its preferred equity investment of approximately $663 million in an onshore wind, utility-scale solar and solar-plus-storage portfolio developed and managed by Clearway Energy Group.
The portfolio includes three wind, two solar and two solar-plus-storage projects with 1.6 gigawatt renewable energy generation and 395 megawatts of co-located storage capacity across California, Hawaii, Texas and West Virginia with a diversified group of predominately investment-grade corporate, utility, university, and municipal offtakers.
