Baker McKenzie announced today that Ye (Cecilia) Hong has joined the Firm as a partner in New York, as the Firm continues to expand its transactional practice in key financial centers globally.
Cecilia joins the Firm from an international law firm’s New York office where she represented private equity firms, their portfolio companies, corporate borrowers, alternative capital providers, and other financial institutions in leveraged finance and other complex financing transactions, including distressed investments. She has handled transactions ranging in size from tens of millions to billions.
Cecilia has experience practicing in both the US and Asia and brings an ability to understand the distinct approaches to doing business in different jurisdictions. She appreciates the nuances in different cultures and anticipates clients’ needs to provide proactive and actionable advice. Cecilia excels at leading teams across practices and jurisdictions, streamlining the Firm’s legal advice.
