Deal includes iconic publications Popular Science and Field & Stream

Baker McKenzie advised North Equity LLC, a leading digital media venture equity firm, in its acquisition of media assets from Bonnier Corporation, which includes the digital and print businesses for the brands Popular Science, Field & Stream, Outdoor Life, Saveur, Popular Photography, Better You and Interesting Things.

The brands involved include three 100-plus-year-old publications and represent some of the most iconic voices in science, outdoor and food. Collectively, they engage nearly 10 million monthly online unique visitors, another 15 million followers on social media, and have 1.7 million loyal print subscribers.

The acquisition is part of North Equity’s growing portfolio of digital media brands and will complement its existing food, military, tactical and outdoor verticals.
