Baker McKenzie recruits Erik Forsin as a new partner. Erik Forsin joins on 16 November and will strengthen Baker McKenzie's Dispute Resolution practice in Stockholm.
"Erik Forsin is a recognized skilled lawyer and I am pleased that he chooses to join Baker McKenzie. The recruitment of Erik Forsin is part of our strategy to continuously strengthen our competence within our focus areas," says Anders Fast, Managing Partner, Baker McKenzie in Sweden.
"I look forward to contributing to and further developing Baker McKenzie's Dispute Resolution group in the Nordic region. It is inspiring and exciting to be part of an international law firm like Baker McKenzie, and to contribute to the expansion of the Firm's already strong position in disputes, litigation and arbitration," says Erik Forsin.
Erik Forsin joins Baker McKenzie from DLA Piper, where he worked with Swedish and international clients on arbitration, commercial disputes and litigation matters. He also has extensive experience in investigations and mergers and acquisitions.
"Erik Forsin's solid knowledge and many years of experience within litigation and arbitration is a valuable reinforcement for us, and we can now further sharpen our offering to our clients, says Anders Fast. "We have grown our transactional practices in Stockholm considerably in recent years, and we also see great growth potential for our international arbitration and wider disputes practice across a number of sectors."
Erik Forsin has an LL.M. degree from the University of Stockholm 2008, and he has been a member of the Swedish Bar Association since 2014.
