Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow, the member firm of Baker McKenzie in Singapore, has promoted five lawyers and a tax advisor for the new financial year starting today.

Tax Advisor Shih Hui Lee from the Tax and Trade practice and Eunice Tan from the Financial Services practice are promoted to Principals (i.e. partner equivalent). There are four new Local Principals (i.e. of counsel equivalent): Ng Zhao Yang from the Employment practice, Liew Ying Yi from the Financial Services practice, and two lawyers from the Finance & Projects practice, Dennis Lim and Amanda Toh.

Managing Principal of Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow Andrew Martin, said: "I would like to congratulate our newly promoted lawyers who we recognise as up-and-coming young talent. Notwithstanding the depressed economic climate and outlook amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Firm has decided to continue with promotions in the new financial year."
