Pavel Novikov, an attorney in the Moscow office of Baker McKenzie, has been promoted to partner.
Pavel has been working at Baker McKenzie since 2011. As head of the insolvency and asset tracing practice group, he specializes in domestic insolvency litigation, international (cross-border) insolvencies, and global asset tracing. Pavel represents clients in domestic and international courts and arbitral tribunals, advising on corporate compliance and in criminal investigations. Pavel is recommended by Chambers Europe and Legal 500 as a top specialist in restructuring and insolvency in Russia, and was recognized by Kommersant as a Leading Insolvency Lawyer in Russia in 2019. In addition, Pavel is Russia's only qualified INSOL Fellow (International Insolvency Practitioner).
