Baker McKenzie has moved its Brussels office to Manhattan building, Bolwerklaan 21 Avenue du Boulevard, 1210 Brussels, where it will benefit from outstanding office spaces and client-facing areas in the heart of the new Brussels Central Business District. Effective Monday 29 June 2020, the Firm’s Brussels professional staff and team of 75 lawyers will be the building’s first tenant.
“We are excited to be a part of this development in Brussels,” said Daniel Fesler, Managing Partner of Baker McKenzie's Belgian offices. “Our office has an innovative layout with natural light, a great mix of closed and open workspaces and comfortable amenities with exceptional views on the city center for our colleagues and clients."
The Firm occupies a 5,000-meter square space in the Manhattan. Designed by De Cort & Partners, the premises include state-of-the-art facilities and an emphasis on meeting and collaborative spaces.
“The layout provides a more efficient use of space for interaction between our clients, lawyers, and staff,” said Daniel. “We wanted flexible spaces that also will encourage and facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration, which we feel is paramount for effective teamwork and fostering relationships across practice and industry groups.”
The Firm relocated from its former office at Louizalaan 149 Avenue Louise, 1050 Brussels.
